In the growing unhealthy trend in Tamil Cinema where rival groups attack the other star's movie by spreading false SMS messages to the neutral groups by stating that the movie is not good, or how bad the movie is. This trend is not a good one for the industry and the newly released movies can be affected by this trend.
One big example was our Ilayathalapathy's last release Aathi. Vijay's fans all over India reported degrading SMS messages on their mobiles on how Aathi, the movie was being downgraded by some vested interests. Even though we cant attribute the "not so successful" run of Aathi to these messages, we cant deny that these messages can be a big influence in the minds of the people.
We cannot stop these trend in totally taking over because we cant stop others from sending SMS messages. But what we, as Vijay fans, can do is to spread the good word about Pokkiri. If we spread good word about Pokkiri through SMS to as much people possible, it can negate the influence caused by degrading messages. And we do not ask you to just spread SMS messages without watching Pokkiri. Only spread such messages if you yourself really liked Pokkiri.
This can be a leading example for all Vijay's fans. Also we should take the stand of not degrading other actor's movies through SMS or through any media. We as Vijay fans, have the responsibility to make sure that as much people as possible watch Pokkiri in the theatres and make it a successful movie. We all know what Pokkiri the movie is all about. Now its our turn to make it a earth shattering success
